At the center of our business is our mansion, where the oldest parts of the main building are from 1805 and which were expanded after 1860 to today’s size and appearance.

The mansion was completely renovated during 1984-1986 and has since been continuously maintained. The mansion represents an age and style from the time when the forest industry was established in the second half of the 19th century. Today a full service hotel and conference facility as well as an activity center.

The owners of Filipsborg are Ms Victoria Sandin and Mr Örjan Pekka. Victoria is the creator and teacher who creates the unity in the experience of the mansion with its interior, serving and menus. Örjan Pekka is the publicist and newspaper owner who switched to hospitality business and carries thousands of stories about northern Sweden, the manor and what shaped nature in the area, a truly professional storyteller.
