Filipsborg is a family-owned and family-run hotel that takes pride in giving our guests a personal treatment and the best care. We get a lot of praise for our top class hospitality. Our hotel rooms are inspired by the colours of the arctic with a warm touch. As a hotel manager, storyteller and professional guide, you will meet Örjan Pekka, the former editor-in-chief who switched careers to tourist experiences. Victoria Sandin is the creator and teacher who has complete control of the hotel rooms, the restaurant kitchen and the well-tuned furnishings in the hotel and mansion – environments that undergo constant change and refinement. You meet three generations with knowledge that together with committed and knowledgeable staff creates a whole.

In addition to offering fantastic accommodation in our hotel, we arrange activities that give you memories for a lifetime. In winter, nature trips on snowmobile along the river and in the archipelago. We offer safaris where you can meet our reindeers plus snowshoe walks, ice fishing and much more. Through partners, we offer husky safaris and icebreaker experiences. In summer, we launch our boat Filippa II on a quiet river safari to our wilderness camp or out in the archipelago. In the autumn when Kalix Caviar is caught, you get the experience of a caviar safari with knowledgeable fishermen who catch the desirable vendace that gives the exclusive Kalix caviar. We can also arrange hunting safaris on the mansions own properties, mainly hare and forest bird.

Conferences for development and learning

We have a total of four conference rooms plus many break out-rooms for group work. Our largest conference room has 55 seats while the smaller ones are dimensioned for groups of 2-30 people. The layout of the conference rooms can be adapted to different needs, for example school seating, board seating or herringbone shape. Wi-fi and ethernet connection are available for participants.
